Colombia’s gambling regulator Coljuegos has issued 46,228 blocking orders against unlicensed gaming operators since 2022. The agency released the latest enforcement figures alongside the registration of a new market participant.

According to official Coljuegos data, the total number of blocking orders now reaches 55,658. Regulator president Marco Emilio Hincapié stated that the current administration applies strict measures against unauthorized gambling. "The agency utilizes its Artificial Intelligence Center to identify and restrict non-compliant websites," Hincapié noted. Coordination with the Ministry of ICT streamlines the blocking procedure through internet service providers.Market Expansion and Licensing
Hincapié added that licensed platforms secure player data and wagering funds while directing funds toward public health initiatives. The regulated market continues to grow, with Coljuegos registering MrYoker as the fifteenth licensed operator in May. Global Vixto will manage the brand under a five-year concession covering online casino, live casino, and sports betting segments. The regulator projects the new concession will generate $7.4m in tax revenue during its initial term.Coljuegos previously expanded its licensing framework to accommodate additional digital gaming providers.
